Philanthropy
Tri Delta's national philanthropy is Children's Cancer Charities. This philanthropic cause encompasses many different charitable organizations who each work toward the research and treatment of children with cancer.
In conjunction with this cause, Tri Delta has partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Each year, our chapter hosts two philanthropy events, Delta Desserts and Delta Idol, along with many other fundraising efforts like the letter-writing campaign, Sincerely Yours. Tri Delta and St. Jude
In 1999, St. Jude became Tri Delta’s national philanthropic partner. Our work for St. Jude started out slow, but began to skyrocket after Tri Delta’s national office challenged its members to raise $10 million in 10 years!
Tri Delta chapters across the nation astonished everyone by raising not just $10 million in 10 years, but more than $10.6 million in just four years! This is an accomplishment unmatched by any other Greek organization. We are very proud to be members of an organization with such audacity and commitment.
This donation renamed the Patient Care Floor in the Chili’s Care Center, where patients who have undergone bone marrow transplants go to recover. All patient rooms also have an attached parent room, where parents may sleep, shower, and rest while their children are in recovery. This floor also has a Teen Room, Child Life playrooms, and a Nintendo Wii in each room.
Our newest challenge is to raise a staggering $15 million in 5 years! The Ladies at our Phi Rho chapter are ready to meet and exceed this goal — Just as Tri Delta's always do!

Delta Desserts
Delta Desserts is held in the fall and is open to all who wish take part. Faculty, students, staff and community members gather and are able to enjoy an extravagant array of desserts provided by our sisters. This event is great for the whole family, because everyone enjoys a treat!

Phi Rho and St. Jude
Pacific’s Phi Rho chapter is dedicated to reaching and exceeding our fundraising goals, as all proceeds from our events benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We hold large philanthropy events each year that reach out to both the Pacific and Stockton Communities.
Many businesses around Stockton sponsor our events, demonstrating enormous support from the community as we strive to make a difference. Tri Delta’s are proud to be a part of such a great organization that helps so many people from across the country. We are committed to St. Jude and show great love in all of our efforts.
