Letters today, leaders tomorrow.

At Tri Delta, scholarship is an important part of our chapter's goals. Each member is required to maintain a GPA of 2.5, though the Tri Delta house average GPA is consistently above the all-women's GPA at Pacific. Our chapter honors members earning above a 3.5 with the Pine Tree Award and a scholarship dinner every semester. In addition, each year our chapter honors one senior who earned the highest cumulative GPA at the end of their junior year with the Eileen Blain Rudolph Scholar Award.
Along with these awards and recognition, our scholarship program consists of incentives for our members to do well academically. These incentives include the “Smarty Pants Jar” where members, who earn an A on an exam, quiz or paper, may enter their name in a drawing for a gift card to places like Starbucks and Jamba Juice. Like the “Smarty Pants Jar”, there is the “No Skippy Jar” for those who do not skip class and an “Improvement Jar” for those who improve their grade in any one of their classes. These drawings are conducted weekly throughout the semester.
Lastly, our scholarship program offers assistance to its members when academic support is needed. It is easy to find a quiet place to study as well as plenty of study buddies to help you get through even the toughest exam.
